Delivery Terms

We deliver within Europe, to the UK and Switzerland using a variety of courier companies. Various options and costs are presented at checkout for you to select from.

In Stock or Out of Stock Items

Occasionally items are out of stock and need to be ordered from the supplier, in which case we will get in touch to discuss your delivery options. If the item is in store, the expected delivery for small to medium items is 3–5 working days (location dependent).

Very large or heavy items, or pieces of furniture may require custom delivery calculation and will require specific delivery confirmation. We will contact you with an expected lead time.

Lead times and delivery costs listed here are indicative only and may be subject to change depending on the conditions and location of delivery and special requests made. Should there be any change to your delivery charges after ordering you will be contacted and given the option to continue with the order or cancel your order with no penalty should the changes not be agreeable for you.

Delivery Times

Delivery times can vary depending on the location, but largely fall within 5-10 business days within France, and 7-14 days to other locations within the European Union.

Please note that delivery locations in remote or difficult to reach places may incur additional delivery fees or delivery times cannot be guaranteed for these locations. Bien Chez Soi currently does not ship to Island locations. 

Oversized or Outside Delivery Zones 

If your order is over the weight or dimension allowances of our online delivery providers, or if the location you have specified for delivery of your order is not serviced by our delivery providers, please call or email us on:

and where ever possible we will arrange a custom quote to have your order shipped to your chosen delivery location.

Fees Associated with Shipping to Non-EU Countries

All import duties and fees associated with orders places for delivery to non-EU destinations are to be borne by the person receiving the goods ordered. These costs will be invoiced directly by the shipping company to the recipient of the goods ordered. That is to say, the items we sell to destinations outside the EU will be charged without VAT, and without relevant local duties applied.

The shipping costs charged by Bien Chez Soi purely cover the cost of shipping, but do not cover local import duties and taxes. Import duties are typically calculated locally – on a country-by-country basis – taking into account the value of the goods shipped, their size and weight.

Delivery Outside the EU

If you are located outside the EU Mainland and your location is not listed on our shipping locations in the checkout please get in touch to discuss available options for your order.
